Tony Jones is one of the ABC's most respected journalists, with more than 20 years experience in radio and television news and current affairs. He has worked on programs including AM, PM, The World Today, Four Corners, Lateline and Foreign Correspondent In 2004, he received a Walkley for best ‘Broadcast Interviewing’, for a series of Lateline interviews. He has won a number of awards for his current affairs coverage, including a Walkley award, a Penguin Award, a Gold Medal for a story on the exploitation of Antarctica and a Silver Medal for best foreign coverage in the New York Film and Television Festival. In mid 1998 Tony returned to Four Corners. |
